Tufa Castles
Tufa Castles
The shore of Mono Lake in the Eastern Sierra is like being on an alien landscape. Strangely shaped spires stick out of the water and the lake shore. The sand tufa are one of the coolest of such features and are exposed when the sand around them is blown away. A winter storm was a fitting back drop for this location and helped create this dramatic image.

Print Information
I work with the expert printers at Weldon Labs to create the perfect prints. The process involves several proofing runs while working side by side with Weldon's experts to ensure the image is perfect in terms of color, sharpness, and clarity to develop a master print file. The master print file is then used for printing the limited edition run.
Fine Art Paper: Inkjet prints using premium archival Canon & Epson fine art papers and inks.
Fuji Flex Paper: A silver halide based Crystal Archive paper with exceptional color, depth, and detail. It is the current gold standard in archival fine art printing. The print is developed using a chemical process and light jet printers. It provides up to 4,000 pixels per inch resolution, compared with 300 for inkjet. These prints literally stop people in their tracks when on display.
Ready to Hang: The ready to hang pieces are printed on Fuji Flex and then mounted onto an aluminum backing board and protected using a durable UV resistant coating to prevent images from fading over time. They come ready to hang with a float mount rail system. They provide a sleek modern look while bringing the beauty of nature into your home.
Collector's Edition: All collector's edition prints are printed on Fuji Flex and are mounted without glass in a custom designed frame using museum archival standards. I work directly with a master framer to design a unique and amazing frame using exotic natural woods which complement each image. These frames are only available with the Collector's Editions or Artist Proof. Visualize this image in your home or office providing joy to you and your guests for a lifetime.
Limited Editions
Due to the fine art nature of my photography, I limit my images to editions of 200 total. This includes a single Artist Proof, 14 collectors edition prints, and all sizes of the standard edition prints.
Each fine art print comes with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. The absolute finest materials are used to ensure archival quality, lasting beauty, and to protect your investment in fine art. With proper care and handling, your framed print will be enjoyed for 100 years and beyond.
When the limited edition runs out, the print will no longer be sold as fine art, but may still be used for stock photos - so do not miss your chance to secure your favorite landscape photos while they are still for sale. All copyrights are reserved to the artist; reproductions may not be made without permission. I am, however, flattered if you would like to share my watermarked photographs online with your friends on websites such as Pintrest or use them as your computer desktop backgrounds.
